Your Guide to Creating Activities for your Courses
Updated over a week ago
Overview:
To create an activity, navigate to the activities page by clicking on the Activities tab on the left navigation:
Then, on the top right of the activities page click on Create Activity
There are three types of activities that you can create in Kritik: Individual, Group, or Calibration.
Individual activities require each student to submit their own Creation for the activity. During the Evaluation stage, their Creation will be anonymously distributed to their peers to be evaluated. In the Feedback stage, each student will have the opportunity to provide feedback on the evaluations they received.
Group activities assign an activity to the groups of students created in your course group set. To learn more about group sets and group activities, click here.
Calibration activities are used to align student grading with professor grading by comparing evaluations of the same activities. To learn more about Calibration, click here.
The next step in creating your activity is to fill out the activity details. Titles should be clear and easily recognizable for students. The objective can include any learning outcomes from the activity. Instructions should be used to provide guidance for your students on how to carry out the activity. Tables, videos, or other links can be included here. If you wish to attach files associated with the activity such as more detailed instructions, course notes, or other resources, click on Attach a file.
