Overview
The Spotlight feature enables you to showcase exceptional work done by your students to the rest of the class. You can also highlight well written evaluations.
Simply navigate to the detailed list page within an activity and click on "Spotlight Creation"
Here you will be able to select whether this creation was "Above & Beyond" or "Innovative"
Once an option is selected you will be able to write a comment which will also be shared with the rest of the class when this creation is spotlighted.
You will be able to see a preview of how the spotlight will be displayed to the students and once it is posted it can still be edited or removed.
The spotlight will appear at the top of a student's Activity Dashboard, under their grades and above their Current Activities.
You can also point out exceptional evaluation examples to help students have a better grasp on evaluation their peers. The process is similar to spotlighting a creation.
Navigate to the detailed list page of the particular student you would like to spotlight. Under the evaluations tab, you can select which comment you want to spotlight and click Spotlight Evaluation
You will have the choice to choose between highlighting it as a Critical & Motivational evaluation or as an Authentic one. Once you select one, you will also be able to provide a written comment for the rest of the class.
